Nancy Ossinger, BA, MA, RCC, CCC

Nancy is a registered clinical counsellor with the BC Association for Clinical Counsellors, and is a certified professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, with 22 years of experience.

Nancy’s goal is to help clients find ways to care for themselves and to move towards becoming the people they desire to be.  It takes courage and strength to be vulnerable and face struggles in life. With that in mind, her focus is to provide a safe place for you to feel accepted where you are, and to encourage you towards growth and restoration.

Her approach to working with clients is holistic, strength-based and draws on a variety of techniques from Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, Gottman Method, and Meaning Centred therapies.  Nancy has a background working with individuals and families impacted by addiction, and has additional training in the area of grief and loss, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

Counselling may not be something you envisioned yourself wanting or needing, however, it may be a place where you can find support and healing for many of life's challenges.
